Klenprime 40 is a sympathomimetic amine used by those suffering from respiratory disorders, like decongestant and bronchodilator. People with chronic respiratory disorders, such as asthma, use it as a bronchodilator to facilitate breathing. It is usually available in the form of hydrochloride, clenbuterol hydrochloride.
Pharmacological action – bronchodilator.
Excites beta2-adrenoreceptors, stimulates adenylate cyclase, increases the content of cAMP in cells, which, by affecting the protein kinase system, deprives myosin of the ability to bind to actin and promotes relaxation of the bronchi. It inhibits the release from the mast cells of intermediates, which provoke bronchospasm and inflammation of the bronchi. T1 / 2 from the plasma – about 3 hours. Reduces edema and stagnation in the bronchi, improves mucociliary clearance. Has tocolytic action: lowers the tone and contractile activity of the uterus. With inhalations it has a fast and long bronchodilating effect (about 12 hours).
